NA, the history

 The name „NA“ means „us“. Although it is a short name, the success story of this exceptional Rock Band is quite long. NA was born after war in October 1999. In the beginning, the four friends: Krashi, Bekim, Fisnik and Alban formed a rock band called NA. A change occurred after three years, as Alban and Fisnik left the group to follow their own careers, whilst Krashi and Bekim remained with NA, and Blerat, their 17 years old guitar player, joined the group in 2004. Playing together, the trio soon made their name as an excellent party and club band. Today, they play gigs throughout the week all around Kosova and sometimes even in neighboring countries, and can therefore live of their rock’n’roll music.

Kreshnik “Krash” Koshi, was born into a family of musicians in Gjakova on 16. January 1981. Together with Alban Bokshi, he formed his first band during high school. In 1999 he founded NA with Alban, Fisnik and Bekim. During the beginning of his career he played the guitar and sang lead vocals, but began playing bass and became the only lead singer when Alban and Fisnik left NA. Krashi’s incredible voice makes the sound of NA unique and special to our ears.

Bekim Kepuska, was born in Gjakova on 28. June 1977, when he was 16 years old he started playing the drums and later dedicated his life to music. In 1995 he had his first concert experience as a guest of a local band. A year later he founded his first band “Neon” in cooperation with other local rock musicians. Since his beloved rock music did not pay enough for his existence, Bekim took on many jobs within the context of Albanian folk music, where he familiarized with odd rhythms like 7/8 or 9/8. Bekim is now married to his wife Leonora and they have a son named Detar.

Blerat Kepuska, was born in Gjakova on 25. April 1987. He has grown up in a musical environment through his brother’s involvement in music. At the age of 12, he started to follow his brother’s (Bekim's) footsteps by playing the drums, but at the age of 15 his interests changed, as he began learning to play the guitar. Improving his guitar skills, he founded the group “Flokshat” and had his first success in Gjakova and Tirana. In October 2004 he joined NA by taking over the guitar role from Fisnik. He’s now a member of the trio and strongly contributes to the sustaining success of NA.
